Designer/ Sportswear/Brand Collaborations; Stella McCartney x Adidas

Stella McCartney started her long-term collaboration with Adidas in September 2004. Her collections with Adidas have been very successful rather than just gym/ sportswear she has also designed for other sports such as running, winter sports, swimming, cycling, yoga and tennis.

She was also made the creative director for the Olympic Summer games in London 2012 and designed all of their sportswear for both the Olympic and Paralympic games for the Great British team she was appointed by Adidas. She also shown a capsule evening collection for London Fashion Week in honor of London in 2012.

"I wanted to design a range for girls to look good whether they're running, doing yoga or in the gym, and adidas, with all their experience, is the perfect partner to do that". The tennis range (above) is Stella's favourite as she describes it as being a bit 'saucy'. It includes short dresses with cut-out floral detail, short skirts and cropped trousers with popper detailing.
